Guest: Rosemary Fletcher, Chelsea LaBate, Cori Gross (Periscope Magazine)
Our first Monday show was a blast! Rosemary Fletcher joined us first to talk about overcoming MS, Chelsea LaBate of Ten Cent Poetry played us tunes, and Cori Gross talked about Periscope's upcoming issue.
Rosemary spent 11 years in a wheelchair before turning to natural healing to oversome MS. Through "God's 8 Laws for Natural Healing" which include water, exercise, bowel elimination, proper nutrition, fresh air, sunshine, rest, and trust, she was able to loose over 200lbs and defy what doctors had told her. Today she no longer is in a wheelchair and her amazing story is told through her book "Change Your Mind...Change Your Body.
Musician, artist, poet Chelsea LaBate (Ten Cent Poetry) joined us to share some of her beatiful and orginal music. What began as a painter in New York Cith turned to a self-taught musician playing open mic nights and small venues. She made her to Asheville, NC where she met up with Melissa Hyman, a classically trained cellist, and the two have been building a fanbase ever since.
Cori Gross of Periscope magazine stopped in to talk about their upcoming issue with the theme "Grin and Bear It." Periscope is an online magazine based in Asheville, NC that encourages creative communication about the human experience.
